THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS...

Whilst visiting the city that never sleeps, New York, I was so fortunate to be able to shoot with the amazing Max Papendieck.

Born and raised in Australia, he now resides in NYC and is slaying the game. From shooting campaigns and editorials with the likes of Gigi and Adriana Lima, he is high demand. So when the opportunity to shoot with Max came up we managed to squeeze in a session one cold, crisp New York morning.

The gorgeous and talented Tobi Henney, also a fellow Aussie, was in charge of hair and make up  and she has compiled a "get the look" exclusively for you guys below the pics!

A huge thank you to Max and Tobi for making my trip to NYC just that little bit more magical. You two are gems and I feel so fortunate to have been able to work with you both!

TOBI HENNEY:

GET THE LOOK | JESINTA X NYC

I absolutely loved creating this look for Jesinta in NYC for our exclusive shoot with photographer Max Papendieck.
Follow the ‘How To’ guide to get this chic, glowing makeup look.

I prepped Jesinta’s skin by cleansing with Bioderma Sensible H20 to remove any impurities and oil from the skin.

I lightly misted MAC Cosmetics Fix + to hydrate the skin and massaged Dermalogica Skin Smoothing Cream for extra moisture.

To create the luminosity I primed Jesinta’s skin with Laura Mercier Radiance Primer. It creates a gorgeous, soft candlelight glow.

I buffed Armani Luminous Silk foundation into Jesinta’s skin and blended out with a Beauty Blender sponge.

Jesinta has incredible skin and little concealing is required, I light tap Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage under the eyes and set with Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder.

To add extra highlight under the eye area I use YSL Touche Eclat and melt into the skin with my fingers.

To accentuate Jesinta’s gorgeous cheekbones I begin with Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate by lightly contouring in a “3” and an “E” on each side of her face (temples, cheekbones, jaw line)

I use the white shade of the product to highlight the tops of the cheekbones, cupids bow and centre of the nose. To enhance this work I follow the same parts of the face mentioned with Charlotte Tilbury Film Star Bronze & Glow.

I love the way this product transforms the entire look. It is a must in my kit. Add some of the highlighter from the palette under the brow bones and to the inner eye.

I powdered Jesinta's T-zone using MAC Mineralise Skin Finish powder and apply Tom Ford Bronzer over the cheekbones.

Jesinta loves a full brow, I take the time to brush them up and fill them in using IT Cosmetics Brow pencil and set them into place using L’Oreal Brow Plumper.

I prepped the eyes with Tom Ford Platinum Cream Shadow (which is a long lasting, non creasing base) and applied Still Baked Eye Shadow Trio the lid area, I use MAC Wedge to shaded create definition to the crease. Ensure all shadows are blended beautifully (MAC #217 brush is perfect for this).

I curl the lashes using Shu Umera lash curler and apply my favourite Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in Black to the upper lash line to create a more defined lash.

I coat the lashes with IT Cosmetics Super Hero Mascara and add Ardell Individual lashes for extra volume.

To complete the look I hydrate the lips with Kiehl’s Lip Balm and press Harlotte Birthday Suit Lipstick into the lips and blot off excess.
